Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting of software issues across multiple operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
- Conduct hardware repairs involving soldering, component replacement, and circuit analysis using schematics and technical manuals.
- Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of device malfunctions and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and in the field, explaining repair processes and offering maintenance advice.
- Assist customers with retail sales by demonstrating product features, answering questions about mobile devices and accessories, and guiding purchase decisions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and troubleshooting steps taken to ensure quality control.
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing electronic devices with knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
- Proficiency with Android, iOS, macOS, Windows platforms, and mobile device troubleshooting.
- Strong soldering skills combined with familiarity with schematics for circuit analysis and repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for delicate equipment repair tasks.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Experience providing technical support in a field service or retail environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques across various operating systems.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
