MATTERS (a division of UBMD Emergency Medicine) is a multistate substance use treatment and resource referral network that connects individuals to outpatient follow-up care and harm reduction resources.
The Implementation and Quality Assurance Manager’s primary responsibilities are twofold: to ensure the success of new implementations and to assist in the development of new referral application functionality. Implementation services include development of onboarding and startup activities, facilitation of training and development for regional partners, and data collection and preliminary reporting,
Primary Functions
- Lead implementation activities to bolster the success of the MATTERS referral application in New York and in other regions
- Guide new regional partners through onboarding, startup, launch, and ongoing partner account management with fidelity to established values and processes.
- Set and track timelines, milestones, and deliverables (in collaboration with partners) and provide ongoing support
- Coordinate discussions with stakeholders on design and process for MATTERS deployment
- Document, troubleshoot, track and resolve referral platform issues as needed
- Collaborates with regional partners to identify local requirements and functionality needs, providing continuous improvement and ensuring the platform aligns with regional needs.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for user-related issues and works to ensure that platform functionality meets requirements and performs reliably
- Collaborate with product and development teams to identify defects to support continuous platform improvement.
- Serve as a liaison with regional and local partners, translating partner needs to improve platform functionality
- Train regional partners on referral platform functionality and updates as they become available
- Evaluate regional performance on a regular basis and make recommendations to leadership team on improving performance
- Monitor referral activity and partner engagement continuously and adjust level and style of support and strategy as necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 5 years of implementation or project management experience in a complex environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people, backgrounds, roles, and styles in both verbal and written form
- Ability to think critically and creatively solve problems
- Ability to maintain oversight and organization of multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to constantly shift priorities in a highly dynamic environment
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sensitivity
- Computer skills including Microsoft Suite
Job Requirements
- 40-hour average work week (hybrid schedule available)
- Due to the nature of the program, actual hours per day/week may vary, including occasional evening/weekend required
- Occasional travel required
