Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills
Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and/or Saturdays, either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on-call work schedule. Teleworking is not authorized; this is an on-site position in Tallahassee, FL.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational and database administration activities
- Plan, design, implement, and support database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL code reviews
- Assist with training and mentoring of other technical staff
- Perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
- 15 years of combined experience in database administration across the following platforms:
- DB2 for z/OS
- SQL Server 2008R2 / 2012
- Oracle 10g and above
- Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS: application integration, performance management, catalog maintenance, sub-system point-in-time recovery, and upgrades
- Advanced knowledge of JCL
- In-depth knowledge of: z/OS integrated platform, CA GEN model management, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL, DB2 for z/OS monitoring tools, z/OS software monitoring tools, technical infrastructure implementation planning
- Solid working knowledge of: z/OS started task creation/management, IBI z/OS service support, AFOPER commands, RACF, CICS, IOF, Disaster Recovery, Oracle DBA, MSSQL DBA, infrastructure change management verification testing
- Working knowledge of: z/OS EXITs, BJS, Windows Servers, SSMS/SSRS/SSIS, Azure

- Experience with integrated database infrastructure in a financial management application environment
- Familiarity with large-scale integrated application environments
