Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, implementation plans, and documentation for HR automation releases
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with HR stakeholders
- Develop testing strategies, data scenarios, and test plans to address functional requirements
- Manage user stories, sprint backlogs, and participate in SCRUM ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) in Azure DevOps
- Produce deliverables: business requirements, functional specifications, QA plans, UAT artifacts
- Facilitate work sessions with HR subject-matter experts to elicit and prioritize requirements
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and QA documentation
- Experience in workflow automation, human resources systems, or government applications preferred
- Knowledge of HR business processes and state government workflow practices
- Ability to produce complete functional documentation capturing business processes and application inputs/outputs
- Skill in testing complex applications against requirements and designs
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Azure DevOps experience for backlog management, sprint planning, and test execution
- QA review experience against defined standards
- Experience with state government HR systems, payroll, or position management applications
- Data analysis and validation skills
