Job Description: We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Administrator with deep expertise in AWS GovCloud, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and FileCloud platform administration. This infrastructure systems administrator role - also known as a cloud infrastructure specialist or enterprise cloud administrator - owns end-to-end management of AWS environments, VDI workspaces, and enterprise file collaboration platforms supporting government operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure supporting enterprise business applications and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
- Serve as primary FileCloud administrator, managing user onboarding, access provisioning, troubleshooting, and day-to-day technical support for all platform users
- Monitor, patch, and upgrade cloud infrastructure systems including scheduled on-call nightly and weekend maintenance windows
- Design, implement, and enforce advanced system security policies and compliance controls across AWS and cloud-hosted platforms
- Troubleshoot complex distributed cloud environments - diagnosing connectivity issues, application performance degradation, and infrastructure failures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple technical and business teams, providing clear status updates and adhering to quality and delivery standards
- Drive proactive cloud adoption initiatives including environment prototyping, server builds, data migration, and performance tuning

- Proven experience as an enterprise systems administrator in client/server environments
- Experience with cloud adoption lifecycle: readiness assessment, environment prototyping, server builds, data migration
- Robust proficiency in Windows, Linux, and CLI; 1 2 years VM infrastructure experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
