Job Responsibilities
The QC Chemistry Analyst will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and accurately documenting results. Responsibilities include:
- Performing testing of finished products, intermediates, in-process samples, raw materials, water, and environmental samples
- Following CSL and compendial laboratory testing methods
- Recording test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and required documentation
- Entering laboratory data and results into the LIMS system
- Reviewing test data and results for accuracy
- Communicating any aberrant or unexpected results to laboratory supervision immediately
- Following established testing schedules and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining accurate, complete, legible, and timely laboratory records
- Following cGMP requirements and company procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Performing other laboratory duties as assigned by Laboratory Management or the Group Lead
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related science field
- An Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a Bachelor’s degree
- Entry-level candidates are welcome
- Laboratory experience is a plus
- Good practical understanding of a laboratory environment
- Understanding of laboratory safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Good time-management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
