Respiratory Manager

• Department: Respiratory Therapy
• Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift
• Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's Chilton
• Location: Clanton, Alabama

What You Will Do

Manage operations for Respiratory, Sleep Disorders and/or other services.

• Implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management and other job related issues. Oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist issued by the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
