Job Description
To diagnose, evaluate and treat individuals with communications problems such as speech, language fluency, and swallowing disorders. To develop and implement therapeutic speech and language development programs and services.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) required. Must complete clinical fellowship and receive Certificate of Clinical Competence within designated timeframe. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.Why Work at UAB Medicine
