Job Description
To oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the hospital to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience is required. Associates degree OR technical diploma in Electrical Systems, Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred. State of Alabama (or reciprocal state) MC, NICET FAS II, and City of Birmingham Journeyman license or MC is required. ASHE Health Care Physical Environment Worker Certification required within six months of employment. Driving record should meet University underwriting guidelines to drive vehicle in performance of University business. Current guidelines include possession of a valid driver's license issued in the United States, at least 21 years of age and at least 3 years of driving experience. Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
