Develops and supports a framework to manage the administration and strategic direction of the physician practice (UAHSF). Provides oversight and recommendations for the general business administration of the UAHSF, including but not limited to financial management, compensation plans, business analytics and reporting, new initiatives and opportunities for economies of scale and process optimization. Defines and develops best practices for practice administration. Monitors performance and recommends changes and improvements to departmental administration. Reports pertinent information to executive leadership. Ensures alignment with policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Serves as key liaison between departmental administrative leadership and UAHSF executive leadership.
2. Monitors practice performance management, including benchmarking for both productivity and
compensation.
3. Coordinates fair market value assessments for physicians.
4. Collaborates with senior leaders regarding market assessment, growth opportunities, etc.
5. Builds and maintains strong relationships with physician leaders and executive leadership to ensure
alignment and support across the organization.
6. Monitors and recommends actions to address physician concerns with the goal of improving
engagement, retention, quality, and satisfaction.
7. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and organizational rules and regulations.
8. Assists with physician and administrator onboarding.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5)
years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
