The Opportunity
As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of a transitional housing program serving veterans. You will supervise case management staff, ensure compliance with program requirements, and maintain a therapeutic environment that supports stability and long-term housing success.
You will be responsible for both the people and the performance of the program—ensuring services are delivered effectively while maintaining accountability to funders and organizational standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Program: Supervise case managers and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Drive Outcomes: Monitor program performance, track data, and ensure goals are met
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to VA, HUD, and funder requirements, including documentation and reporting
- Support Veterans: Oversee intake, service planning, and progress toward housing and employment goals
- Create Structure: Maintain program schedules, activities, and a therapeutic community environment
- Provide Clinical Oversight: Support staff in addressing client needs, behavioral concerns, and interventions
- Collaborate Externally: Build relationships with the VA, community partners, and service providers
- Manage Operations: Oversee program logistics, including staffing schedules, reporting, and coordination with internal departments
- Coach and Develop Staff: Train, guide, and hold team members accountable for performance and growth

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field required (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of case management experience
- Experience working with veterans and/or individuals experiencing homelessness preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills
- Ability to manage program data, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Valid driver’s license required; must meet company insurance requirements and complete driver training
