We’re looking for a dynamic HR leader who knows how to build trust, influence leaders, navigate difficult conversations, and create healthy organizational culture without losing sight of operational realities. Someone who can coach with empathy, hold boundaries when needed, and bring both professionalism and humanity into the workplace.
You’ll serve as the strategic HR partner at our Phoenix site while also providing support for our Prescott location. You’ll also be part of a collaborative national HR team that values initiative, accountability, humor, and partnership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Be a Trusted Partner to Leaders
- Build strong working relationships with managers and supervisors across multiple departments
- Coach leaders through employee relations issues, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and difficult conversations
- Partner with leadership to strengthen engagement, retention, communication, and team effectiveness
- Support organizational change efforts and leadership transitions
Lead Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Serve as the primary HR advisor for employee relations matters and policy interpretation
- Conduct and support workplace investigations in partnership with HR leadership and legal counsel
- Guide corrective action, performance management, and documentation processes with professionalism and fairness
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Partner with site leadership to identify trends, reduce turnover, and improve workplace culture
Drive Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of operational and program roles
- Build pipelines and sourcing strategies that attract mission-driven talent
- Support onboarding efforts that create a strong first impression and long-term employee connection
- Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Strengthen Learning & Organizational Development
- Identify training needs and implement practical, engaging learning solutions
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and cross-training initiatives
- Facilitate trainings and conversations that strengthen communication, supervision, and accountability

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field required; MA of MBA a plus
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial employee relations experience in a BP role
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEO, and related regulations
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and guiding performance management processes
- At least 3 years’ experience conducting full-cycle recruiting and new hire onboarding
- Strong coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Experience using HR data and metrics to support decision-making
- HRIS proficiency required; Paycom experience strongly preferred
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification a plus
- Ability to travel to Prescott, AZ 2–3 times monthly for onsite support
