Job Description:
Summary/ Required Skills & Experience:
Seeking an experienced ADABAS Natural application developer with in-depth knowledge and experience working directly with client IT/business users in maintaining and enhancing legacy applications. Additional preferred (but not required) skills/experience include:
- Manufacturing industry experience
- z/OS mainframe knowledge and experience
- CICS application development
- IMS application development
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support legacy applications built with Natural and ADABAS on the mainframe platform.
- Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely fixes to ensure system stability and performance.
- Develop, test, and implement new features or changes to existing applications based on user requirements.
- Modify and enhance batch and online programs using Natural, leveraging ADABAS for database access.
Skills:
- ADABAS, Z/ OS, CICS, IMS
Education:
- High School or equivalent Experience
