Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working in Cisco system administration and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides to Cisco switches, routers or firewalls. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

- You will perform network administration and troubleshooting supporting Maritime Operations Center (MOC) classified information systems.
- You will recognize potential security violations, take appropriate action to report incidents as required by regulations, and mitigate any adverse impact.
- You will provide resolution for network problems and develop/utilize bridges, routers, gateways, transport media using TCP/IP, IPX/SPR, SNA transport protocols, or SONET, ATM, frame relay, Ethernet, Token ring, or FDDI transport technologies.
- You will apply information security knowledge and experience of information systems to provide technical support, advice, and guidance for preparation of plans, systems design plans, test plans, SOWs, and specifications for information systems.
- You will develop funding packages as required to operate and maintain the MOC network infrastructure.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
