Position Overview:
The Expense Specialist is responsible for managing and auditing employee expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and accurate financial reporting. This role involves overseeing expense transactions, managing corporate card programs, and providing training to employees on expense systems and policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Audit employee expenses on a daily basis to ensure adherence to company policies.

Manage corporate card issuance, monitor limits, and maintain compliance controls.

Train employees on the use of Ramp and company expense policies.

Ensure all expense transactions are accurately coded to the correct General Ledger (GL) accounts.

Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of expense policies and compliance requirements.

Hands-on experience with expense management platforms such as Concur or Ramp.

Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and financial systems.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills for training and policy enforcement.
