The Human Resources Administrator at the Whitewater Center (Whitewater) provides hands-on support for the organization across core HR functions, including employee onboarding/offboarding, personnel management, and full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and part-time staff. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
As a front-facing member of the Human Resources team, the Administrator is responsible for facilitating positive and energizing interactions with Whitewater employees and prospective hires. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The HR Administrator is a full-time, on-site, benefits-eligible position that reports to the Human Resources Generalist.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
- Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including personnel data entry, compliance tasks, system credentialing, background checks, and employment documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions and coordinate with departments on policies and procedures
- Maintain and update personnel records, requisitions, and staff changes in ADP Workforce Now and other systems
- Facilitate Workers’ Compensation incidents between employees and insurance partners
- Generate reports and provide administrative support to HR and other departments
- Assist with process documentation, audits, and HR projects
- Maintain office supplies and submit order requests as needed
Recruiting & Hiring
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and part-time employees, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
- Oversee applicant tracking and maintain accurate candidate status throughout the recruiting lifecycle
- Manage interview scheduling and hiring calendars
- Partner with department heads to ensure job postings are current and aligned with hiring needs
- Meet staffing and hiring goals set by department leadership
- Develop a strong understanding of all seasonal and part-time roles across the organization
- Plan, coordinate, and attend recruiting events (on-site, off-site, and virtual)
- Support the development and execution of job fairs and hiring initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or an administrative role.
- Experience working in ADP Workforce Now or a similar HR information system.
- Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal hiring
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit at a computer for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.
- Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.
- Must be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.
- All positions at Whitewater require employees to report and work onsite at Whitewater locations.
