Essential Job Functions:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare documents for scanning.
- Operate scanning machines to convert paper files into electronic format.
- Distribute non-scanned mail to appropriate personnel.
- Operate mailing equipment and process daily outgoing mail.
- Archive and purge documents according to established schedules.
- Process and manage electronic document “buckets.”
- Audit and upload contents of CDs to ensure electronic file storage accuracy.
- Follow up on CDs pending password access.
- Maintain and order scanning room supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with computers, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Visual abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Language: Ability to read and interpret service logs, open orders, and manuals. Capable of preparing reports and communicating effectively by phone, email, and web conference.
- Mathematical: Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Reasoning: Ability to follow written and oral instructions, understand diagrams, and solve problems in standardized situations.
