USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in our Wyomissing, PA location.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Early Morning Shift
Key Responsibilities
Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
Complete local deliveries to job sites.
Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including ensuring proper loading and driver logs are completed.
Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
Advise the dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
Complete all documentation for deliveries, including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out-of-state mileage logs.
Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications And Skills
Ability to operate warehouse equipment
Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
Must be strongly independent
Must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card
Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
