Position: Inventory Associate
Organize, check for quality assurance, and record all incoming and outgoing materials. Manage the inventory in the Night Train, inventory warehouse, packaging warehouse, and various WIP warehouses throughout the floor. Goods issues as per job orders. Assist with all logistical requirements for USDE and customers. Manage scrap bins throughout warehouse and assist with any needs for forklifts.
Hours: Full-time; Typical schedule isMonday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm Friday: 6:00am-12:00pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs.
Pay Range: $19.50-$20.15/hr (based on experience, qualifications and business needs.)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming goods and materials physically and in the computer system.
- Manage all inventory locations throughout the facility.
- Execute all inventory transfers and transactions in computer system.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory verification for all materials.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Assist packing requirements, tools, materials, and duties.
- Manage all finished goods in computer.
- Handle logistical requirements.
- Load/unload all deliveries.
- Assist in management of any shipping/receiving supplies.
- Identify, pack and label outgoing goods.
- Use forklift regularly for any plant and operational needs.
- Any project assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Independent self-starter.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Skilled forklift/stacker operator.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs, with frequent lifting of up to 25llbs, on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk and perform physical tasks for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work in a team environment and neatness are essential skills for this position.
