US Door Equipment Corp is seeking an experienced Account Representative to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing existing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers by following up on inquiries, quotes, orders, deliveries, and quality claims to ensure a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, organized, and motivated to grow sales while working collaboratively with internal teams. This position reports directly to the Sales Director and works closely with Sales Support, Engineering, and Production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain existing customer accounts through timely communication and follow-up.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, deliveries, and quality claims.
  • Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  • Identify potential customers and key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and sales materials that address customer needs.
  • Promote new products and services to existing customers to increase sales and strengthen relationships.
  • Attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales Support, and Production to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Accurately maintain customer records, sales activity, and account information within the company's ERP system(Epicor).
  • Meet established sales goals and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales or customer service experience required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the elevator industry or a related manufacturing/technical industry preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Effective negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using an ERP system in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel depending on business needs.(approximately 2–3 trips per year) may be required for customer visits, meetings, or industry events.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
