Duties
- Major duties: Responsible to clean and disinfect assigned areas utilizing the proper chemicals and equipment
- Cleaning walls - doors - door frames - floors - window sills - blinds - beds/bed frames - fixtures - and furniture - with emphasis on high touch surface areas
- Polish metals - change shower - cubical and window curtains
- Scrubs - strips - and applies floor sealers and finishes using powered buffers and scrubbers
- Empties all waste and trash receptacles including regulated medical waste - chemotherapy - pathological waste - appropriate hazardous waste - as needed
- Disinfects and refills containers for soap and hygiene dispensers
- Cleans porcelain and chrome fixtures in bath and shower rooms
- Effectively plan daily schedule in order to accomplish routine cleaning - which may include cleaning patient care and/or administration areas of the facility
- Work Schedule: Full time - 7:00am-3:30pm - Rotating Holidays and weekends
