What are the responsibilities and job description for the Management Analyst position at U.S. Department of State?
This is a TEMPORARY, INTERMITTENT position located in Office of Overseas Employment, Bureau of Human Resources. The incumbent serves as a Management Analyst in the division responsible for the design of all major cash, non-cash, and risk benefit plans for 186 missions. This responsibility involves compensation and benefit studies, data analysis, plan design, renewal analysis, and reviews for benefit plan soundness and compliance.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience administering compensation programs, including analyzing commercial vendor surveys and global market data to make recommendations for pay and benefit adjustments in accordance with federal regulations.
- Experience developing and implementing compensation policies and procedures that comply with federal pay systems, (i.e. General Schedule (GS), Foreign Service (FS), and Senior Executive Service (SES) pay structures).
- Experience providing programmatic support to federal HR professionals and Locally Employed (LE) staff at U.S. Missions abroad.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.

Salary : $121,785
