Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Entomologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health/ Medical-Veterinary Entomology research and a passion for the study of insects and their interactions with the environment. This role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and providing insights that contribute to our understanding of entomology and its applications in public health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research on insect behavior, ecology, and physiology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address environmental law and conservation issues related to insect populations.
- Provide expertise in animal care practices, including medication administration and animal restraint when necessary.
- Stay updated on advancements in microbiology as it relates to entomology.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
