Are you a skilled Registered Nurse seeking a career with meaning, challenge, and unmatched benefits? The U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD) is currently seeking highly qualified nurses to serve full-time as Critical Care Nurses (66S) in the Regular Army (RA).
As a 66S, you’ll deliver intensive nursing care in high-acuity environments such as intensive care units (ICUs), forward surgical teams, and combat support hospitals—all while leading Soldiers and practicing at the top of your license.
💵 Bonuses & Incentives (FY25 Active Duty):
- Accession Bonus of up to $100,000 for a 4-year commitment in Critical Care Nursing (66S)
- Eligible for Board Certification Pay (BCP): $8,000/year for holding qualifying national certifications such as CCRNFY25 Active Component (….
- Eligible for Incentive Pay (IP) and Retention Bonuses (RB) during continued service.
- Opportunity to combine with Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP)—up to $120,000 over 3 years for qualifying loans.
🧠Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE).
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time critical care nursing experience in an ICU setting.
- National certification required (e.g., CCRN-Adult) at time of packet submission.
- Must meet Army medical and fitness standards.
