We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Entomologist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory experiments involving microbiology, taxonomy, and anatomy studies of various insect species.
- Analyze data related to insect physiology, microbiology, and environmental interactions to support ongoing research projects.
- Maintain detailed records of research findings, specimen collections, and experimental procedures.
- Assist with environmental law compliance and ethical standards during fieldwork and laboratory activities.
- Handle insects safely using proper animal handling and restraint techniques; administer medications or treatments when necessary.
- Contribute to the development of pest management strategies or conservation plans based on scientific findings.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals or zoo staff on projects involving animal care or pet care that relate to entomology.
- Stay updated on advancements in entomology, microbiology, horticulture, and related fields through continuous learning.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $243.56 - $293.32 per day
Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
