What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at U Dirty Dawg?
Busy Boarding, Grooming & Doggie Daycare looking for an experienced Kennel Technician person to join our team. All applicants must be positive, friendly, and able to work in a team-based environment.
Very family oriented environment with room for advancement.
Duties Include:
-Ensure a fun and SAFE play environment for dog playgroups.
- Cleaning duties
- Feeding and administering medication
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience with dog handling, dog behavior, and basic canine health.
- Highly detail oriented with excellent multitasking skills
- Must be PUNCTUAL and RELIABLE.
- Positive, energetic, friendly, driven, self-motivated, organized, and dependable.
- Physically able to lift at least 50lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
-Must have a flexible schedule to be available for weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays!) and all major holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation- Must have excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
