Responsibilities
- Resolve Tier I and Tier II Help Desk tickets
- Desktop/laptop deployment and imaging
- Windows & macOS support
- Software installation and troubleshooting
- Hardware replacement
- Mobile device support
- Active Directory / Entra ID administration
- MFA and identity troubleshooting
- Conference room technology support
- Asset management
- Knowledge base updates
- SOP creation
- Customer support and ticket management
- Coordinate with Networking, Cloud, Engineering, and Cybersecurity teams
- Engineers will spend nearly half their time on engineering initiatives, including
- Endpoint automation
- PowerShell scripting
- Endpoint imaging improvements
- Patch management
- Vulnerability remediation
- Endpoint modernization
- Incident response support
- Documentation and process improvement
- 5 years of enterprise IT support experience
- Windows 10/11 administration
- macOS administration
- Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Intune
- JAMF
- Ivanti
- KACE
- Mobile Device Management (iPhone/iPad/Android)
- Microsoft 365 support
- Imaging and workstation deployment
- Patch management
- MFA support
- VPN troubleshooting
- PowerShell scripting (required)
- Python (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Preferred certifications CompTIA Security , Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Apple Certified IT Professional, AWS Cloud Practitioner, ITIL Foundation, or SysOps Administrator
- Secret Clearance required
- Must pass an FBI background check and complete fingerprinting at U.S. Capitol Police HQ
- Primarily on-site at the Ford House Office Building (Washington, DC)
- Hours M-F, 830 AM-500 PM, with occasional after-hours emergencies
- Occasional trips to Manassas or Ashburn, VA (no travel reimbursement)
- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $85,000 to $100,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as 100education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
