Job Details: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing and facilitating the maintenance requirements for the private fleet terminals. Responsibilities: Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance for the fleet. Communicate and document driver write-ups. Coordinate repair over the road breakdowns and wrecks Financial responsibility for specific terminal maintenance cost. Conduct quarterly meetings with terminal managers outlining major opportunities for improvement. The successful position holder will engage in daily communication with our vendors drivers shops and operations team to effectively maintain our equipment to optimum performance. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or industry experience. Experience: 3 plus years of experience; mechanical experience preferred. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required SAP experience preferred. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Specialized knowledge of truck and trailer mechanical systems. Supervisory: None.
