Job Details: This position is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly balancing of hog procurement. This is a third shift position. Hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with Saturday work as scheduled. SUMMARY Training to write procurement checks based on grades, yields, and “contract" payments, and prepare paperwork for incoming loads. Maintain, distribute, and file reports and paperwork. Assist producers and buyers to resolve problems with payments or yields by researching issues and working with corporate. Other duties as assigned. Selected candidate will cross-train in all areas/shifts in the office to provide vacation and sick-day coverage. ***THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION*** REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred. Experience: Preference given to applicants with 1 years office experience and those with prior accounts payable or bookkeeping experience. Computer skills: Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with SAP software is a plus. Communication skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required. Must be self-motivated and able to work with little to no direction supervision.
