Harvest season is generally June through November and will require extended hours (up to 14 per day) and additional days (to include weekend work). Hours of work are subject to change based on operational conditions and at management discretion. This position pays $18.60/hr.

Essential Job Functions
- Obtaining and grading grain samples to test for weight, moisture content, and foreign materials.
- Weighing trucks and issuing scale tickets to delivery drivers.
- Organizing various documents and entering information in Microsoft Excel and Tyson-specific systems.
- Interacting with farmers and ensuring their questions and concerns are appropriately addressed.
- Communicating with Tyson Foods Local Grain Services, to include team members in operations and accounting.
- Providing leadership to part-time and seasonal team members working in the scale house.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
- Performing general housekeeping duties inside the scale house.
- Operating PLC to dump trucks and loading trucks and railcars as needed.
- Must have 3 months operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as long as experience is at least 3 months
- Must be organized and be able to handle detailed administrative work.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Must have good communication skills and an ability to interact with external and internal customers
- Must be able to work in a dusty environment.
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures, as well as dry and wet conditions.
- Must be able to and/or stand for 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to bend, squat, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs.Must be able to work under the direction of a supervisor and complete tasks as assigned.
- Must maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
- Must report to work on time and maintain a good attendance record in compliance with company policy.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and help and assist as needed.
