The Tyson Claremont plant is part of Tyson's Prepared Foods division (not raw poultry/meat processing), which produces bakery and sandwich-type prepared foods. The Plant has two operations, Bakery and RTE (Ready to Eat).

Overview of Positions:
RTE Production Stacker:
This is a production-line position focused on preparing labeled, finished boxes/cases for packers on a manufacturing or food production line.
The role specifically works on the pack-off end of the assembly line focusing on labeling, sealing, and staging boxes correctly and on schedule, while also maintaining safety, cleanliness, and food-safety compliance on the line.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for keeping food bins full of materials and components, maintaining trays and liners throughout the production line.
Key duties include sanitizing trays, ensuring liners are properly placed and replaced at breaks and lunch, and maintaining an adequate bread supply on bread tables.
This position also handles pallet organization for empty bread trays, breaks down and stacks cardboard, and weighs and reports any dropped or broken product. Sanitation is a core focus — following proper glove use when handling meat or cheese, keeping meat bins clean with fresh liners, and ensuring trash cans are emptied with clean liners in place. The role also includes general housekeeping and assisting with cleanup until the line passes inspection.
Key focus areas:
This position plays a hands-on role in the bakery's sandwich assembly line, responsible for catching, sorting, layering, and stacking bread throughout the production process. This role is essential to keeping the production line running efficiently, minimizing product waste, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met at every step — from the moment bread comes off the line to when it is staged on pallets for the next stage of production.
Additional Responsibilities:
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

- Stamina — candidates should be prepared for sustained physical activity across full shift length (e.g., 8–10 hours)
- Environment — Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 120°F.
Overview of Positions:
RTE Production Stacker:
This is a production-line position focused on preparing labeled, finished boxes/cases for packers on a manufacturing or food production line.

Responsibilities:
- Labels master cases and ensures each case has the correct date
- Wraps and seals boxes, making sure they're securely taped
- Keeps a steady supply of ready boxes for packers
- Checks that the correct pallet type is used for the product being made
- Removes strapping/cardboard from pallets when opening new boxes and disposes of it properly
- Maintains a clean, trash-free work area
- Removes labels from unused boxes once a production run ends
- Helps clean and inspect the entire line as needed
- Operate tape machine in a safe manner and report any safety hazards.

- Break down cardboard boxes and stack in bin.
- Follow proper sanitation guidelines including the use of gloves when handling meat or cheese.
- Weigh all broken and dropped products and report to operator.
- Replace leftover product back in box with liner and securely seal. Place on product pallet.
- Ensure all meat bins are cleaned and have new liners.
- Ensure all trash cans are emptied and clean liner in place.
- Assist with clean up until line has passed inspection.

- Bread Catching & Sorting
- Retrieve and line catch bins at designated stations near the Grouper slide
- Catch bread coming off the conveyor and monitor fill levels
- Stack and cover filled catch bins to prevent contamination and product damage
- Bread Layering & Pilo-Pak Support
- Observe Pilo-Pak sealing process to confirm proper seal quality
- Pull sealed Pilo-Paks using proper two-handed technique and place neatly into bread trays
- Inspect bread for defects (misshapen, doubles, seedless, discoloration, oil contamination) and route non-conforming product appropriately
- Adjust equipment components (e.g., Grouper Lane Bolts, Grouper Slide, Grouper Break) as needed to maintain proper bread flow and Pilo-Pak spacing
- Tray & Pallet Stacking
- Stack filled bread trays neatly, following defined stacking heights and patterns (2-5 trays at a time).
- Build and tape pallets of stacked trays according to standard row and taping procedures to prevent shifting during transport
- Operate a manual pallet jack to move completed pallets to the appropriate staging area
- Refill tray towers with empty trays in preparation for downtime or line changeovers, maintaining safe height limits
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general housekeeping.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, HACCP and GMP’s.
- Compliance with company policies, HACCP, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed.
- Prior experience is not required.
