Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties in any department as assigned.
- Work in positions that may include, but are not limited to, Stacker/Supplier, Food Assembly, Hand Wrapper, and Sanitation.
- Maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson Foods policies and procedures.
- Support production operations and assist in meeting production deadlines.
- Work in different departments and areas of the facility as needed through cross-training.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed.
- Prior experience is not required.
- Must be willing and able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry materials weighing between 15 and 50 pounds, depending on the assigned area.
- Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours per day on hard floors.
- Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 120°F.
