Job Description:
- This position is responsible for developing and managing the overall maintenance functions for the facility.
- Coordinating maintenance activities with the production scheduling; protecting and ensuring proper manpower requirements forth maintenance department; ensuring effective understanding and use of Tyson CMMS System.
- Training and developing maintenance management (supervisors) and hourly team members.
- Assisting in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget.
- Promote and implement maintenance best practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
- Assisting the plant engineer in the development, implementation and management of the annual capital budget.
- Act as project manager on capital and maintenance expenditure projects to ensure proper project scope development, equipment specifications, equipment selection, costing, planning and scheduling installation and start up and commissioning.
- All these efforts will be directed towards the plant focus and direction of moving from a reactive interval-based maintenance organization to be a proactive condition based maintenance organization with world class maintenance performance.
