We are a rapidly growing seven-attorney law firm focusing on personal injury. Our team is expanding to meet increasing case volume, and we are seeking a skilled Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal who can hit the ground running. Position Overview
The Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal will support attorneys through all stages of the litigation process. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation, is highly organized, and can manage complex case files and deadlines with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and trial documents
- Organize case files, maintain docketing/calendar deadlines, and file documents with state and/or federal courts
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and insurance carriers
- Prepare deposition summaries, medical chronologies, and trial binders
- Manage and organize discovery materials, evidence, and exhibits
- Coordinate scheduling for depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Support attorneys during trial preparation and trial, as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of personal injury litigation paralegal experience (required)
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a busy litigation docket
- Proficiency with e-filing systems and case management software (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
