The Nylon Cutting Supervisor will lead and supervise a team of cutting associates within a production environment, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and efficient workflow. This role is critical in maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
|
§ Supervise and support a team of 20 direct reports, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. § Direct the daily work of employees to achieve quality and on-time production targets in coordination with Trim / OS Supervisor. § Evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their professional development. § Serve as the subject matter expert on nylon specifications for all products, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of materials and construction. § Verify that all manufacturing orders are complete with necessary cutwork before releasing them to the Trim / OS supervisor in preparation of delivery to sewing team. § Track and coordinate the timely delivery of manufacturing orders to both internal and external sewing teams, ensuring seamless transitions. § Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively. § Establish clear performance expectations for individual team members and ensure accountability. § Demonstrate strong servant leadership principles, supporting and empowering the team. § Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions. § Perform other related duties as assigned, including guiding and assisting colleagues. | |

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES: |
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: |
|
§ A minimum of one year of experience performing cutting duties within the garment manufacturing industry is required. § Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is required. § Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. § Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). § Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly within a team setting. § Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and detail. § A persuasive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. § Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. § Excellent verbal and written communication skills. |
· Must be at least 18 years or older · Must have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience · Preferably High school diploma or GED. · Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
