Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the San Mateo. The Growth Manager - Marketing will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies, analyzing market trends, creating campaigns, managing digital marketing efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing goals with company objectives. This role also involves identifying growth opportunities and optimizing performance to scale the business further.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, Meta, Reddit, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Manage budgets, pacing, and performance metrics to hit acquisition and efficiency goals.
- Build and maintain scalable campaign structures, creative testing plans, and keyword/audience strategies.
- Use data to identify underperforming areas, new growth opportunities, and actionable next steps.
Landing Pages, Messaging, and Funnel Optimization
- Collaborate with Product and Creative to refine landing pages, user flows, and onboarding experiences.
- A/B test headlines, value props, CTAs, and creative variations to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure messaging is consistent across ads, landing pages, and in-product surfaces.
- Analyze full-funnel performance and implement improvements from impression to activation.
Growth Experimentation
- Develop and run rapid experiments to test new channels, audiences, and creative concepts.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to run in-product growth tests that impact activation and retention.
- Document experiment learnings and build playbooks for repeatable growth.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor performance, CAC, ROAS, and funnel KPIs.
- Ensure accurate tracking with UTMs, pixels, and conversion events across all campaigns.
- Translate data into insights that inform strategy, creative direction, and product roadmap decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Creative, Community, and CS to align on user needs and insights.
- Partner with Design to produce high-performing creative assets for ads and experiments.
- Support CRM and lifecycle teams to connect acquisition with long-term user retention.
Qualifications
- 5 years in digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Data-Driven Marketing
- Proficiency in Market Research, Analytics, and A/B Testing
- Skills in Social Media Campaigns, Email Marketing, and Content Marketing
- Knowledge of Performance Marketing, SEO, and Paid Media Channels
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Relevant experience in SaaS, tech, or AI-driven platforms is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field
Compensation for this role will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal leveling guidelines. The base salary range for this position is $130,000–$170,000, depending on location and experience.
