General Description
Performs aircraft, aircraft component and shop inspections to assure compliance with technical instructions and related
directives.
DUTIES
Responsible for performing preliminary, hidden damage, in process, and final inspections of work performed within the
MRO Operations.
Provides technical assistance, interprets technical data, and evaluates maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable
aircraft, components, and equipment is provided in accordance with current technical publications and directives.
Complies with all regulatory/statutory, customer and contractual requirements.
Maintain Technical Publications and related directives
Maintain Technical publications, forms and records relative to aircraft maintenance.
Administer and monitor aircraft weight and balance programs.
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have completed an Army aircraft maintainers course and have six (6) years verifiable experience in aircraft maintenance
with 2 years verifiable experience in rotary or fixed wing aircraft inspection under TAMMS.
Prefer a graduate of Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course and or Advanced Leaders Course
Verifiable experience applying aircraft maintenance techniques and quality control functions to include TAMMS-A.
Maintenance management policies, aircraft weight and balance, non-destructive, shop practices and safety.
A valid AandP license is preferred
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government f
acilities. May be required to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
