SUMMARY: Provide assistance to Servers while keeping restaurant clean and ready for customers. We are seeking energetic Team Members who exhibit a genuine spirit of Hospitality and strive to provide a warm and lasting impression on our guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas
- Practice and Promote all applicable food service health and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean, pre-set tables to facilitate the steady flow of service for our guests.
- Promptly greet guests and deliver non-alcoholic beverages
- Remove dirty dishes from guest table throughout dining experience
- Notify supervisor of product shortages
- Between seating, promptly clear and clean tabletops, chairs and booths
- Inspect floor and clean as required
- Communicate with Servers and Cashiers regarding seating and table utilization
- Assist servers with food delivery and/or re-fills of non-alcoholic beverages
- Collaborate with FOH and BOH TEAM to ensure a high-quality guest experience
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to multi-task and able to lift at least 75lbs. The requirements listed above and below are representative of the knowledge and/or ability required. Applicant needs to exhibit flexibility with schedule and must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time. Applicant must obtain training on food safety and responsible beverage service of the Casino’s choosing.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the casino and hotel.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to talk and hear. The individual is also regularly required to bend; stand; walk; sit; and use hand/eye coordination. The Individual must be able to lift at least 75 pounds. The individual may be required to stand for 8 hours.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. The Casino is a smoking environment, and the team member must be able to work in a smoke-filled atmosphere. Must be able to work in restricted space.
