What are the responsibilities and job description for the F&B Bar Back position at Tyme Maidu Tribe?
SUMMARY: Provide assistance to the bartenders and servers while keeping the bar clean and stocked. We are seeking energetic Team Members who exhibit a genuine spirit of Hospitality and strive to provide a warm and lasting impression on our guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:
- Support and assist bartenders and cocktail servers
- Requisitions and stocks products
- Keep bar stocked with product throughout shift
- Keep bar area clean
- Keep ice bins full and clean
- Wash and stock glassware as needed
- Make sure garbage containers do not overflow
- Required to know and implement Responsible Beverage Service policies
- Check identification of all guests that look
sunder the age of 30, never serve a guest without proper ID, with special attention paid to matching IDs with Tier Resort Benefit Card holding Players. - Recognize guests who are consuming alcohol too quickly and implement “Slow Down” protocol
- Recognize guests who display signs of intoxication and implement “Cut Off” protocol
- Record hours/time worked in time clock
- Practice and Promote ALL service health and safety regulations and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a courteous manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must have the ability to effectively “Problem Solve” which may involve several variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to monitor activities, communicate, and listen. The individual is also regularly required to bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift push, pull, and use hand/eye coordination. Must be able to lift up to 50lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. The Casino is a smoking environment, and the employee team member must be able to work in a smoke-filled atmosphere. Must be able to work in restricted space.
