Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, lawn mowers, and other landscaping equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both small engines and larger diesel or gas powered equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine check-ups, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, trailers, lawn mowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide solutions.
• Keep up to date records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe, working condition.
• Respond to repair requests by lawn care staff.
• Order parts and manage inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a mechanic, preferably with both small and large engines.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and similar equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience is not required but is a plus.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Drivers license

• $22-26/hr based on experience
