Manufacturing & Shop Assistant (Part-Time)
Tyler Gray Models – Aumsville, Oregon
Part-Time | Approximately 24 Hours Per Week (3 Days)

Tyler Gray Models (TGM) is a small manufacturing and hobby business specializing in scale RC helicopters, aircraft accessories, and custom products. We are looking for a dependable individual to assist with product assembly, light manufacturing work, packaging, shipping, and general shop operations.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in building and assembling things with care and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Product assembly and light manufacturing work
- Finishing and inspecting 3D printed parts
- Packaging and shipping customer orders
- Receiving and organizing parts and inventory
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment
- Assisting with general shop operations and projects
- Following written and verbal instructions
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Dependable with consistent attendance
- Reliable transportation to and from Aumsville, Oregon
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Basic computer skills (order systems, data entry, simple software use)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working with small parts and detailed assembly
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
- Hobbies such as:
- RC aircraft / RC vehicles
- Model building
- Automotive or motorcycle work
- 3D printing
- Woodworking
- Electronics projects
- Computer building or similar technical hobbies
