Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mitigation Technician/Project Manager to lead restoration projects involving fire damage, water intrusion, mold, asbestos abatement, and other mitigation services. In this vital role, you will lead a team of technicians, coordinate project timelines, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Your expertise in restoration industry practices and hands-on skills will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout every phase of mitigation work. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mitigation projects including fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and cleaning services.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and manpower to ensure timely completion of each job.
- Perform hands-on work using hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, asbestos removal, or construction-related tasks as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of properties to determine scope of work and develop detailed project plans.
- Oversee the proper use of equipment such as carpet cleaners, construction tools, and specialized remediation tools to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety compliance, and work performed for each mitigation site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mitigation services such as fire damage repair, water damage restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in restoration projects.
- Hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and construction materials.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to asbestos abatement and other hazardous materials.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various mitigation equipment safely.
