Experienced MIG & Stick Welders Needed – Vincennes, IN
Day Shift & Night Shift Available
We are seeking dependable, skilled MIG and Stick Welders to join our team for a temp to perm opportunity with a respected client in Vincennes, Indiana. If you take pride in quality workmanship, can read blueprints, and thrive in a production environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, and weld metal components to required specifications
- Prepare materials and work surfaces for welding
- Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
- Determine proper gas ratios and welding settings
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain and inspect welding equipment
- Assist with material handling using cranes and other equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Verifiable MIG welding experience required
- Stick welding experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent physical stamina, strength, and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
- Welding certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training preferred
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a nationwide background check
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices
