They are currently looking to make their next strategic hire and bring in an experienced engineer to lead their mechanical team in Dallas. This hire will be given the rare opportunity to take on immediate leadership responsibility and progress quickly under great senior mentorship, all with the unique flexibility of a fully remote work schedule!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction, managing scope, budget, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Design and oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling systems, including calculations, equipment selection, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders, ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards, conduct site visits, and resolve field issues.
- Mentor engineering staff, delegate project tasks, improve technical standards and processes, and support client relationship development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with PE licensure and 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience, including team and project leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical building systems, engineering principles, interdisciplinary coordination, and applicable codes and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, delegation, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
