  • Contract management: Review project scope, contract requirements, change order procedures, deadlines and closeout obligations.

  • Budget and cost control: Help establish project budgets, track job costs, review estimates and monitor project performance against budget.
  • Submittals and documentation: Coordinate submittals, maintain logs, support operations and maintenance documentation, and help ensure accurate project records.
  • Procurement and subcontractors: Assist with purchase orders, subcontractor coordination, invoice reviews and material tracking.
  • Change orders and RFIs: Help prepare and track change proposals, review pricing, manage information requests and ensure submissions meet contractual deadlines.
  • Billing and financial reporting: Coordinate with project administrators and field teams to support accurate billing, payment applications, retention tracking and positive cash flow.
  • Field coordination: Communicate regularly with foremen and field supervisors, review progress and help resolve scheduling, productivity and quality issues.
  • Safety and quality: Support pre-job meetings, hazard assessments and compliance with project safety and quality requirements.
  • Forecasting and reporting: Assist with monthly cost-to-complete reports, progress updates, labour forecasting and project performance analysis.
  • Project closeout: Help ensure record drawings, O&M manuals, final documentation and retention requirements are completed on time.
  • Team collaboration: Work with estimators, project managers, project administrators and other internal teams to keep projects running smoothly.
