Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner/Shipper to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal, to uphold safety standards and a tidy environment.
- Clean and package parts for shipping to customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Prepare items for shipment by packaging products securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying order accuracy through picking & packing procedures
- Manage shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, updating inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all handling and shipping activities, including load & unload procedures
Experience
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is highly desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, or MRP software for inventory control and order processing, a plus.
- Understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, including packaging standards and order fulfillment workflows
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights or quantities
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
