Parts Shipper - 2nd Shift

Hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18.85 $2.50 shift premium = $21.35 per hour

Packs and prepares products for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products. Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments. Ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for area. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receives instruction, guidance, and direction for production.
• Meets picking and packing expectations.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments for non-conformity and escalates to appropriate leadership.
• Performs routine assignments.
• Demonstrates responsibility for attendance, quality, and attention to detail.
• Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Uses company equipment and materials properly.
• Strives to increase productivity.
• Approaches others in a tactful manner, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.
• Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.
• Participate in team meetings and exchange job related information.
  
  

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Detail oriented and organized.
