What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Accountant position at TXO Partners?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly revenue recordings
- Reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with third party fees and pricing contracts
- Processing monthly journal entries for various income statement and balance sheet accounts
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations
- Monthly filings and payments to state agencies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1-5 years of oil and gas upstream revenue accounting experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and multi-tasker
- Must have the ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision
- Must have effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with office staff and various agencies
- Ability to work in time-sensitive environment to meet ongoing deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred
