What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at TWR Transport LLC?
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be able to install 12v and 110v electrical wiring and components, as well as other structural and mechanical items on a variety of van chassis and specialty vehicles. Candidate must have good time management skills, pay close attention to detail and provide their own tools.
Responsibilities:
- Work with supervisor and team to ensure assignments are completed to the customer expectations and the production schedules are met.
- Participate as an active member of the production assembly team.
- Install 12v and 110v electrical wiring and mechanical components in custom made specialty vehicles as well as interior doors, walls and floors.
- Install specialty items to vehicles, such as lighting, converters, inverters, hospital equipment, dental equipment.
- Follow detailed production instructions and wiring diagrams.
Job requirements:
- Prefer candidate to have a high school diploma or GED and have 5 years of installation experience in a Bus/RV/Trailer/Modular Home manufacturing environment.
- Must have your own tools. Minimum tool requirements
- Proficient in reading tape measure and installing parts.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals.
- Candidate must have a strong attention to detail and have the ability to problem-solve.
- Candidate must be reliable and have excellent attendance record.
- Candidate must have a high level of motivation, energy and have a customer-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements:
This position will require the following physical abilities: the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; sit or stand for extended periods of time; ability to use hands, fingers to grasp, move, assemble and inspect equipment, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
