What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Coordinator position at TWP?
TWP is looking for a Product Development Coordinator to assist in the development of our sample collections. This position will report to the Director of Product Development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to learn quickly and multitask.
Primary duties, including, but not limited to:
• Help with the development of four seasonal collections, and any exclusive collections or collaborations, from sketch/swatch to finished garments.
• Input and maintain styles/BOMs in RLM/CUBIX from initial tech pack to handoff with production.
• Support design team by providing patterns, raw materials, sew by samples and in daily communications.
• Organize and maintain digitizing of patterns, label samples, update sample WIP report.
• Help with the allocation of patterns and sample cutting/sewing between our atelier and outside factories and freelancers.
• Work with raw materials team to plan around fabric and trim arrival to the atelier.
• Attend regular internal meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Flag any issues with patterns, samples, construction, fabrics, trims to PD Director and RM team as early as possible.
• Daily visits to local factories to drop off materials and pick up samples.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2-3 years’ experience in Product Development role.
• A desire to learn and succeed.
• Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction and patterns.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-growing company.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. ERP/PLM system experience preferred.
Salary : $60,000 - $66,500
